About 11.30am (Saturday, September 9) the light aircraft commenced take-off from Coolah Airport, but due to wind conditions the pilot attempted to abort the take-off.
As a result, the aircraft left the runway, hit a fence and flipped onto its roof.
The 74-year-old male pilot and his female passenger extricated themselves from the aircraft and were not injured.
Police attended along with a number of other emergency services, but it is not anticipated there will be any further police action.
