Under the strong winds of the day, the match was a closely fought affair, and due to the conditions shooting was difficult for the top grade shooters.
In the end, it was McDonald Lawson that were able to come out on top with a 31-goal haul.
The Tanks struggled without their regular shooter after she was ruled out with injury for the deciding match, and they were downed with a 16-goal count in the game.
The victory for McDonald Lawson was all the sweeter as it claimed revenge for their defeat in the semi-finals just two weeks before.
The top grade grand final came at the end of a series of season-defining games however, including the other Division 1 decider that saw Aztecs Paragon Sniper Mining come out victorious over ICE magic 40-31.
In the second division it was a close match-up, with Saints The Shed Company the eventual winners with a 36-34 victory over ICE Cudgegong Security.
Allstars Jungle Wax & Tan defeated Starlets Adam Keightley Constructions 38-18 in the third division decider, and the fifth grade champions were the Saints Eagles, defeating the Gulgong Warriors 36-24.
The fourth division was split, similar to the top grade, into two grand finals.
In the first, Starlets Country Physio 2 defeated Starlets Peter Druitt & Co in a 38-17 slog, while Gulgong Fusions came out on top in their match against the Saints Hawks, 35-28.
The junior finals were also played in the openers of the day, starting with the 9-Years Division.
The Gulgong Pixies were the champions of the youngest division, beating out Saints Falcons 19-13.
In the 10-Years Division, Starlets The Property Shop fell to the Saints Larks in a nail-biting 21-20.
The 11-Years Division saw Starlets Blooms the Chemist defeat Aztecs Paragon Mudgee Toyota 30-16, and the 12-Years Division saw the Aztecs Paragon Gulgong Dispensary crowned after their 20-11 win over the Saints Rosellas.
