The Program is a partnership between Westfund and the Defibshop which is designed to save lives by increasing awareness of sudden Cardiac Arrest and the importance of defibrillators in the community.
The school’s successful application will benefit not just the school but the wider Kandos community, with the AED installed in Kandos Returned Services Community Club.
Westfund’s Bianca Maloney visiting Kandos High to hand over the AED on Thursday morning.
“The AED has been secured in an easily accessible place in the Kandos Returned Services Community Club and is designed to provide peace of mind for the entire town.”
