The Gulgong RSL recently held their AGM where a new board was elected with Ken Mole as the new President. Shortly after the AGM Jim Gaudry was appointed the new secretary manager of the club.

Jim and his wife Michelle are lifelong residents of Gulgong and have been strong supporters of the club for many years.
“The club has everything to offer with a very popular restaurant and a variety of activities including indoor bowls and bingo, meat raffles Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights as well as a member’s badge draw on each of those nights. We will also be introducing more live entertainment for the enjoyment of our members and guests.” Jim said.
CENTENNIAL HOTEL HAS NEW LICENCEE
Terry Jones has taken over as the new Licencee of the Centennial Hotel on the corner of Mayne and Medley Streets. Terry has come from the small town of Coora outside Cowra where he owned a hotel. Although Steve and Dave will be taking a well-earned break they will still be around Gulgong.
CALCUTTA AT THE COMMERCIAL HOTEL
On Monday 6th November the Commercial Hotel in Mayne Street Gulgong will be holding a Calcutta to run in conjunction with the 2017 Melbourne Cup on November 7. All proceeds will go to the “Old Boys” Football Club. Speak with Kim for more information.
GULGONG MADS PRODUCTION
Gulgong Musical and Drama Society (MADS) will be holding their next production on Friday December 1 and Saturday December 2 at the Prince of Wales Opera House Gulgong. It is a hilarious new comedy by Peter Barrett. Bookings for this production will be opening soon so check the MADS website for more information.
GULGONG GOLF CLUB GOING PINK
Gulgong Golf Club will hold a Pink Day on October 29 in support of the McGrath Foundation. Players are asked to dress in pink. It will be a 9am Tee off, 9 Holes 2 Person Ambrose.
