New recruits Ben Hunt and James Graham.
And rightly so, both are internationals coming off a World Cup with their respective countries and both were stars in the NRL with their former clubs, Graham up front with the Bulldogs and Hunt as the Broncos’ No.7.
But young fullback Matt Dufty is another player the Dragons will be hoping can produce the goods, not just in Mudgee but throughout the entire 2018 season.
The live wire custodian was a sensation throughout the junior ranks and burst on to the scene in the NRL when he debuted last year.
But questions remain: Can Dufty’s slight frame hold up over the course of a grueling NRL season?
The 22-year-old is just 83kgs and stands at 179cm.
Dufty will battle the emergence of young-gun Zac Lomax in the No.1 jumper during the season, but should earn first crack at Souths on Saturday.
