The students got the opportunity to watch a range of events including swimming, and also heard from motivational speaker, Lorin Nicholson, an Invictus Games athlete.
The Invictus Games is an international sporting event created by Prince Harry for armed personnel to inspire, support rehabilitation, and offer respect to those who serve their country.
This year will also see both Cudgegong Valley Public School and Mudgee Public School host a part of the Mudgee Remembrance Day ceremony, which coincides with the centenary of the signing of the Armistice, marking the end of World War I.
Colonel Jim Burns will be the guest speaker on the day.
The ceremony will be held at Robertson Park, on November 11 at 10am.
