The Australian comedy drama series, now in the second season, will return on August 16.
The first series received six TV Week Logie nominations – including the show’s star Rodger Corser, who was in the running for gold.
Unfortunately, the ten-part mini series missed out on taking home a gong.
The show, part filmed in Mudgee, follows egotistical heart surgeon Hugh Knight’s return to his country home town of Whyhope to work as a GP.
The all star Australian cast includes Rodger Corser (Underbelly, Rush, Puberty Blues, A Beautiful Lie) as Knight alongside Tina Bursill, Steve Bisley, Ryan Johnson and Nicole da Silva.
The cast and crew have had two filming stints in Mudgee for series two and will return to the region from Wednesday, August 9.
The filming schedule will include Market Street, St John’s Anglican Church grounds, Lawson Park, Lawson Park Hotel and the Regent Theatre.
Other local locations used this year include Mudgee Public School, Market Street, Mudgee Airport and the Mudgee Golf Club.
