Two or three items a week will go under the hammer through the Relay Online Auction Group on Facebook.
One of the big ticket items that sold recently was a framed bat signed by retired Australian Test cricketer Mike Hussey.
The bat was bought for $1000 by Anne-Marie Stanford Kanga and tipper Trailer Services for Murray Stanford.
It was donated by Commonwealth Bank Mudgee. The bank’s sponsorship deal with the Australian Cricket team meant that the local branch was able to contribute the bat to the fundraising event.
Some of the other items coming up include Luggage (donated by Mudgee Travel & Cruise), a Vitamin Basket (donated by Blooms The Chemist), and a 4G Tablet (donated by Mudgee Telstra).
Any teams who want to auction off items for their own fundraising total but don’t have time to set up their own group are also welcome to use the Relay Online Auction Group.
