Marry Me Mudgee is a project being developed by local hairdresser Adalyn Norris.
The magazine will guide locals and visitors through their wedding planning, from venues to accommodation and caterers among other essential services.
“After I was married last March I realised there was nothing really available locally for brides to be guided about how to plan their wedding or who to go to for different services,” she said.
“A wedding is a very time consuming event and one guide would help brides decide on what they might like.”
Ms Norris, also owner of The Haircase, said from day to day she will answer queries in her salon about what wedding services are available locally.
“The response to the magazine has been overwhelming,” she said.
“People have been asking where can they buy it, how much will it cost and other questions.”
It is expected the magazine will be about 48 pages and launched on September 24. It will be sold from the next day.
Marry Me Mudgee is also expected to feature at the Mudgee bridal expo on September 28.
It is planned the magazine will be printed on an annual basis and is separate from a recently announced Central NSW Tourism wedding campaign.
Ms Norris said there was still time for businesses to get on board and feature in the magazine.
