The country music singer racked up his 33rd number one hit earlier this year for It’s Only Country and for the past 18 months has been playing sold out show after sold of show to a legion of dedicated fans.
“This has been the longest and most successful tour I’ve veer done. The response has been phenomenal and getting out each night and performing in front of hundreds of fans is a real pleasure,” he said.
The Beautiful Noise Tour, which started its latest round of shows back in May, has been Kernaghan’s way of saying thank you to his fans. It’s travelled from New South Wales to South Australia and Western Australia to Queensland, dropping in on smaller country venues and regional areas along the way.
The show in Mudgee will be the second last stop on the tour before Kernaghan heads to the Gympie Music Muster in Queensland.
“Mudgee will be the last opportunity to see both myself and The Wolfe Brothers in action for a little while,” he said.
Kernaghan said the show would be exactly the same one he would perform in Gympie and he encouraged everyone to wear their hats and Drizabones and be ready for some fun on the night.
“There’s nothing like a country crowd to get the party started,” he said.
