The black tie dinner featured past Wombats and current ones, as well as life members and past committee members.
Former Wallabies captain Nick Farr-Jones was the special guest of honour on the night, speaking about his time playing with the Australian team and his love of the sport.
Farr-Jones also presented the club with a framed photo of former Wombat and Australian player Herb Daly.
Ross Smith researched the history of the Wombat’s, giving a presentation on the night and there are talks of his work being made into a book.
