The POW was filled with laughter and smiles as the members received their trophies and reminisced about the past season.
The POW Hotel has been a great supporter of the club and the management and staff worked extremely hard to make sure everyone in attendance had a great time.
All in attendance enjoyed their meals from the bistro and the family atmosphere.
The club had a great year with five teams making it to the finals and two teams competing in the grand finals in two different divisions.
The club’s members have displayed great sportsmanship and camaraderie.
The coaches have gone above and beyond for their teams and when they praised their players, you could hear the pride and affection in their voices.
Each coach was given a gift from their team members.
Tony Inder was named The Club Person of The Year.
Tony has coached his team for the past eight years and has a true friendship with his team and their families.
Tony and his wife Penny were also celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary on Sunday.
They are wonderful people who have spent many years supporting the community.
Jane Wiltshire is the club’s president as well as coaching two teams.
She has worked tirelessly to make sure the girls had an amazing season. It’s no wonder the club members have displayed great sportsmanship, dignity and grace throughout the season when they have such great role models in the club.
