Perfect cricket weather saw a huge turnout of experienced players and new players who were keen to come along and try the game of cricket for the first time.
Players aged from five to 16 years all had an opportunity to learn cricket skills, play a game and get the cricket bug from the Cricket NSW coaches.
Coaches Tony Wells, Greg Griffiths, Garth Dean and Matt Tabbernor were in Mudgee and worked with the junior players.
It was a fantastic end to a wonderful weekend of cricket, which began on Saturday with a coaching course.
Wells and Steve Peacock ran the level one coaching course which was attended by six participants, who took the opportunity to learn more about the coaching aspect of the game.
The 2014-15 junior cricket season begins on October 11 and registrations can still be made on-line, or at Victoria Park on that Saturday.
