The duo, who have been performing as Dan & Dan around Mudgee venues for around 18 months, will be the warm up act for Jimmy Barnes, Troy-Cassar Daley, The Living End, and Mahalia Barnes and The Soulmates at Robert Oatley Vineyards.
Dan Brown said the call from Roundhouse Entertainment, offering them the biggest gig of their career, came out of the blue.
“We were super stoked,” he said.
'It will be good to play somewhere where people come for the music rather than the bistro menu.'

Dan & Dan are well known around the Mid-Western Region, after regular performances at The Brewery, Lawson Park Hotel, Roth’s and The Mudgee.
But A Day On The Green will undoubtedly be their biggest audience yet.
“It will be different to playing to people who are six feet in front of you,” Dan Hull said.
“But it will be good to play somewhere where people come for the music rather than the bistro menu.”
For A Day On The Green, Dan & Dan have added drummer Aaron Dolanski and bass guitarist Lachlan Campbell to the line-up.
Although they are part of The Living End generation rather than the Jimmy Barnes’ audience, they are excited about sharing the stage with an Australian music legend.
“He paved the way,” said Dan Hull. “For us, he’s an Australian music icon.
“Any Australian musician who plays good music, we respect.”
Dan Brown, a real estate agent, and Dan Hull, a miner, hope that A Day On The Green will open doors in their musical career.
“To play in front of so many people is something we haven’t done before,” said Dan Brown. “We’re just stoked to have the opportunity to do that.”
“We’ll just take it as it comes,” Dan Hull added.
Dan & Dan will open A Day On The Green on Saturday, taking to the stage at 3.30pm.
