From humble beginnings, Mr Marzolla grew through the ranks as a media photographer, then moving into celebrity and fashion often seen in the biggest publications. Now days he continues to teach and inspire while Directing the Aussie Elite group, an industry leading association for models, and working alongside elite level models and photographers.
As a highly respected professional, he has worked with big name singers like Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and Human Nature, actors such as Jack Thompson, Barry Humphries, Rachel Ward, and even top fashion models like Jennifer Hawkins, Megan Gale and Lara Bingle to name a just few.
Over five years, Mr Marzolla has enjoyed giving back by tutoring well over 1000 students in several states. His inspiring work is backed by Tamron lenses, and even brings an array of latest quality lenses for students to enjoy and explore on the day.
“My heart goes out the country people who don’t have access to top professional guidance, or get exploited through inflated prices”, Mr Marzolla said.
“I also have a soft spot for country towns people, and though all my travels, Mudgee is still one of my favourite towns.
“I remember the nervous day when I started at my first newspaper. My images were embarrassingly amateur, to the point that even now sitting with royalty, celebrity or a super model, I am just the same, simply with a few more creative tricks up my sleeve… if I can do it anyone can”.
“Seeing the look and joy on the faces of students when they grasp a new concept, or shoot one of those WOW shots, is priceless”.
“I developed my own very simple learning method which has taught 12-year-olds, and even an 84-year-old man understood it”.
At the master class, students will be shown a creative indoor visual presentation, to reveal complex principles in layman’s terms. From there it’s time for hands on learning of advanced composition and concepts where students get creative. In a first, students will also get to use and experience professional studio lighting, while creating art around the features of a gorgeous model.
The class is the supported by Harvey Norman Mudgee who is offering students free printing.
Numbers are very limited.
