Rain early in the evening forced the Club to abandon plans for an outdoor concert and move the entertainment outdoors, possibly to the relief of neighbours.
But the move did not dampen the enthusiasm of Screaming Jets fans who came from as far as Sydney and Newcastle.
Support band Massive warned up the crowd in the Club Mudge auditorium before Screaming Jets with frontman Dave Gleeson took to the stage for a high energy performance.
In a tribute to the victims of the Paris terrorist attacks, including those who died at a concert in the Bataclan concert hall, the Jets closed with Neil Young’s Keep on Rockin’ in the Free World.
