A bus driver has been charged with mid-range drink driving after being stopped by police before picking up children from a Dunedoo school last week.

About 3.15pm on Friday, officers from Mudgee Local Area Command stopped a bus on Caigan Street, Dunedoo.
The driver of the bus, a 55-year-old local man, was subjected to a roadside breath test and returned a positive reading.
He was taken to Dunedoo Police Station where he allegedly returned a positive breath test analysis reading of 0.09.
The man was charged with mid-range drink driving and his licence was suspended.
He has been granted conditional bail, to appear at Dunedoo Local Court on Friday, April 8.
Police will allege that the bus driver was on his way to pick up children from a local school.
