Road closures
ORANGE: The road to Mount Canobolas remains closed. A decision was made on Thursday to close the boom gates as a precaution. Snow and Ice on Friday afternoon mean the boom gates remain closed. There is no fixed time when they will open.
OBERON: Snow has been falling throughout the Oberon council area and as a result several of the roads in the area are closed.
- Duckmaioi Road closed due to ice on the road
- Abercrombie Road between Oberon and Porters Retreat.
- Shooters Hill Road
- Edith Road
- Dog Rocks Road
- Lowes Mount Road
There are no suitable diversions in place for those travelling in the area.
JENOLAN: Duckmaioi Road between Oberon and Hampton. Advice for the area is to stay away.
JENOLAN: Hampton to Jenolan Caves Road. There are no suitable diversions. Stay away from the area.
Roads open but affected by snow and ice
YETHOLME: The Great Western Highway between Marrangaroo and Yetholme is current affected in both directions by snow and ice. Please exercise caution when travelling in the area.
MOUNT LAMBIE: Traffic has been affected at Mount Lambie on the Great Western Highway. Exercise caution and expect delays when travelling in the area.
