Brock was killed in an accident while taking part in the Targa West rally in Western Australia on September 8, 2006.
The 61-year-old was driving with colleague Mick Hone in a Daytona Coupe when the incident occurred.
The man otherwise known as The King of the Mount' won the Bathurst 1000 endurance race nine times and the Bathurst 24 Hour once.
A year after his death a statue was erected at Mount Panorama. Organisers of the Bathurst 1000 also re-named the trophy to the Peter Brock Trophy in 2006.
The 2016 Bathurst 1000 is set to be even bigger this year as fans rush to Mount Panorama to again pay their respects to Brock, will celebrate 10 years of the Peter Brock Trophy.
A memorial service will be held on September 8 to commemorate 10 years since the death of the motor racing legend.
