Local line dance group the “Wollemi Amigos” held their annual fundraising social at the Kandos Returned Services Community Club in mid-August. The group have held their fundraising social at the club now for a number of years, with money raised on the day benefitting local community services.
The function was well attended with dancers from the local and surrounding areas of Mudgee, Gulgong, Lithgow and Bathurst. Dance instructor Meg Wales said she appreciated the club’s generosity along with many other people who donated a number of prizes and raffles on the day.
“We raised a wonderful $700 and this year it goes to the Kandos-Rylstone Men’s Shed who do a great job around the Kandos Rylstone area. It was a good day all round,” Mrs Wales said.
