Peter Frank Keeley of Station Street, Charbon, also had the bond extended 12 months for the charge ‘Cultivate prohibited plant’.
On the afternoon of December 1, 2015, police were called to his property on information of cannabis growing there.
They found five plants (1-2 metre in height) growing in a garden bed under a shade cloth.
A 25-year-old man who struggled with police when they attempted to question him about damaging his ex-partner’s family home, was placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond and fined a total of $700.
Alex Bills of Mountain Street, Charbon, was charged with ‘Intentionally or recklessly destroy/damage property’, ‘Stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm’, and ‘Resist officer in execution of duty’.
On the evening of September 3, 2016, Bills went to the victim’s house while intoxicated and attempted to fight one of his ex-partner’s family members.
He began headbutting and kicking the screen door, damaging it, and when he was told to leave he smashed the window of the sun room.
After the police were called they were informed that Bills was at the Kandos Hotel, when they attempted to question him he threw a can at them.
During the arrest he struggled with the officers who used capsicum spray to subdue and cuff him.
An 18-year-old man charged with drink driving after crashing into a tree, was fined $450 and disqualified for six months.
Luke Ronald Doorey-Williams of Cairo Street, Kandos, pleaded guilty to driving with the middle range prescribed concentration of alcohol.
At about 7.10pm on May 29, 2016, Doorey-Williams was travelling along Cement Avenue, Charbon, when he veered left and hit a tree before the vehicle came to a rest back on the road.
A roadside breath test was positive for alcohol and he was taken to Kandos Police Station where a breath analysis of 0.119 was recorded.
