Held in conjunction with Mudgee PCYC, the open day will be held at the at the Harley Museum at 71 Angus Avenue, Kandos.
This will not only be a great opportunity to have a look around the workshop and find out how to get involved, but also an opportunity to meet local legend Steve Mini. In a career spanning over a decade, Mini has performed in over 1000 Showtime FMX (Freestyle Motocross) Demos, over 100 Nitro Circus Live Shows and more than 100 Crusty Demons Shows.
Admission to the Open Day is free (donations appreciated) and entry to the Harley Museum is also free.
There’ll be a sausage sizzle and a raffle to win VIP tickets to Nitro Circus Dubbo Show 2017 and other gear signed by Steve Mini.
When the Youth Moto Workshops get underway they will offer youths aged 13 to 17 the opportunity to gain practical workshop skills in motorbike safety, maintenance and repairs.
This hands-on, skills-based program is based around getting back the old skills and will cover all the basic activities that will give participants the skills to fully service a motorbike and even bring it back to life in some cases.
Organisers are encouraging everyone to come along to the Open Day to find out more. They’re also asking all those who have bikes to show their support by riding them to the event.
