Averaging 52, with a top score of 76 not out and a total of 156 runs in the four inter-council matches earned him his top spot in the side.
The Kookaburra Cup is the Country Championships under 14 competition which takes place on an annual basis with each Country Zone across NSW represented.
The current Country Zones are North Coastal, Central Northern, Western, Newcastle, Central Coast, Illawarra, Riverina and Southern.
Following the Championships, the winner of the Kookaburra Cup will play the winner of the NSW Districts Harold Moore Shield, while four combined country teams are selected to take part in the U14 NSW State Challenge in Dubbo.
Lochie has been selected in the Cricket NSW State Academy preseason training program for the past two years.
Phoebe Litchfield from Orange was named as Vice Captain of the side.
