The boys had the surprise of their life when they answered the door and were joined by Tahs Israel Folau, Jed Holloway, Will Skelton, Bernard Foley, and Rob Horne, as well as family and more friends for a breakfast to remember.
“We were playing a Rugby game on the XBox and we heard a knock on the door, Tully [Robertson] went to answer the door but he was too frightened because the Waratahs were standing there,” Flynn English said.
“[We thought] is this really happening?”
Waratahs Bernard Foley and Rob Horne proved handy on the barbecue as they cooked breakfast while the kids showed the players around, shot some hoops, got some autographs and photos, and chatted about all things Rugby.
After breakfast they were taken to Jubilee Oval, where they were joined by fellow Junior Wombats for a fun game alongside some Waratahs on the inflatable field set up.
