A small, unplanned power outage is currently affecting some businesses in the Mudgee CBD near Perry Street.

The Mudgee Post Office is one of the businesses affected and is without power currently.

Essential Energy has postponed all planned power outages scheduled for Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 February, except for emergency repair work that needs to be completed to ensure the safety and integrity of the network.

Essential Energy crews will focus instead on minimising the impact of power outages as a result of the heat so please stay safe, stay cool and report any outages on 132 080.

Planned outages will be rescheduled to a later date and customers will be notified in advance.
