The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards is the tourism industry’s premier awards event, recognising outstanding achievements within the Australian travel industry. Winners were announced at the Darwin Convention Centre, Friday February 24.
The Reset Your Senses campaign objective was to drive increase in overnight visitors, expenditure and destination awareness.
Russell Holden, Chairman of Mudgee Region Tourism says, “We are thrilled to receive this prestigious award. We’ve seen fantastic results with the Reset Your Senses campaign and it’s great to see the campaign continuing to resonate with consumers and the travel industry.
The win follows Mudgee Region Tourism’s recent success on a regional and state level.

Others nominated in the category – The Adelaide Convention Bureau, Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association, Tasmania’s Great Eastern Drive, Queensland’s Moreton Bay Region, Victoria’s Bendigo Art Gallery and Twentieth Century Fox present Marilyn Monroe, Tourism Central Australia and Experience Canberra.
