Yesterday the March 8, Rural Crime Investigators and Detectives seized 19 large high yield cannabis plants at Yarrabin and executed the search warrant.
During the search warrant a further six high yield cannabis plants were seized along with 1.4 kilograms of dried cannabis, cannabis oil and cannabis seeds.
The occupier of the property, a 58 year old man has been charged with two counts of Cultivating Prohibited Plants and four counts of possessing a prohibited drug, one of which is for an indictable quantity of cannabis.
The man will appear before Mudgee Local Court on the May 3.

UPDATE | Mudgee Target Action Group and Gulgong Police seize 123 cannabis plants.
About 4.30pm today the 7th of March, 2017 police attended an address on Jindalee Road, Cooks Gap where they spoke with the 56 year old male occupant.
As a result Police located and seized 123 cannabis plants of various sizes.
The male was interviewed at the location and will face Mudgee Local Court on May 3rd, 2017 for numerous offences including cultivating a prohibited plant.

MONDAY | A cannabis operation in Linburn has been discovered by local detectives, investigating another matter.
Last Friday, March 3, a crime scene warrant was executed at an address on Linburn Lane, Linburn.
Detective inspector and crime manager, Cameron Whiteside said police seized 23 cannabis plants, cannabis leaf, cannabis seeds, items used in the administration of cannabis and two prohibited weapons.
“The operation was camouflaged well and it was obvious that the person had put a lot of thought into the methods of growing the plants,” he said.
As a result a 42-year-old Mudgee man will be attending the Mudgee Local Court on April 19, facing charges of; the cultivation of prohibited plants, two counts of possessing cannabis and the possessing prohibited weapons.
“Police often get different debate and feelings from the public that there is one type of drug – ice – which is the main concern for the public, but it’s well documented that recreational use of cannabis has a far reaching impact on the community.”
“This is not a case of medicinal use, it’s clearly for the person that is using it and potentially others,” he said.
On March 1, Gulgong Police with the assistance of Mudgee CMU and the Dog Squad executed a search warrant in Rouse Street, Gulgong.
During the search warrant an amount of cannabis seeds were seized along with three cannabis plants. Drug paraphernalia was also seized during the warrant. Two Gulgong men will be charged as a result of the warrant with drug related offences.
