The Mudgee Smallbore Rifle Club held an Invitation 90 metre Benchrest prize shoot over the Easter weekend, with competitors from as far as Dubbo, Bathurst, Blayney, Sydney and Anna Bay attending.

The shooters competed in three classes being F Class, Target Rifle and Hunting Rifle.
Major winners for Saturday were Brian Woolley in F Class with 591 out of 600, Leigh Milton in Target Rifle with 563 and Brain Woolley won the Hunting class with 577.
Sundays winners were Brian Woolley in F Class with 592, Leigh Milton in Target Rifle with 577 and Brian Woolley in Hunting Rifle with 574.
Aggregate winners were Brian Woolley with 1183 out of 1200 followed by Paul Baskerville with 1170 and Ned Worthington with 1139.
Leigh Milton (1140) won Target Rifle and Brian Woolley (1158) won Hunting Rifle.
Ladies winner was Vicky McAdam (563) and junior champ was Billy Brown (1123).
