Emily, who hails from Ilford, and was one of eight Rural Achievers at this year’s Sydney Royal Show.
She works as a basic physician trainee at Hunter New England Local Health District.
Emily and her fellow cohort of Rural Achievers were celebrated at a dinner last night at the showground which was attended by dignitaries of the Royal Agriculture Society, Agricultural Societies Council of NSW as well as sponsors Thomas Cook, Akubra and The Land.

This year’s Rural Achievers included Rebecca Cope, Narrabri; Thomas Dewhurst, Cowra; Jarrod Grabham, Bathurst; Elizabeth Munn, Leeton; Ashley Norval, Wamboin; Amy Walker, Hovells Creek; and Cameron Ward, Gunnedah.
Their intensive week at the show involved a function at Government House, stewarding, behind-the-scenes look at the show, dinners with respected agricultural industry leaders plus personal and professional development sessions.
