Mudgee Lions Club has purchased fencing materials, barbed and plain wire and is donating it to the BlazeAid efforts in relation to those affected by the St Ivan bushfire.

The donation came about after Les Leisfield contacted BlazeAid Dunedoo coordinator Laurie Dawson to find out exactly what they needed in terms of practical assistance.
The Mudgee Lions Club raised money through donations at various functions and they were supported in their quest by the Beecroft-Cheltenham Lions Club in Sydney and the Cudgegong Cruisers car club.
Over $6,000 was raised and club members Jenny Roberts, Kieren Norris, Les Leisfield and Tom Cooke delivered the fencing materials.
