After a series of hard-fought quarter finals on Saturday morning, the semi-finalists were confirmed: Martin Byrnes, Garry Hopes, Danny Baskerville and the defending champion Jae Marskell.
Although Hopes and Byrnes put up strong fights, it was Baskerville up against Marskell in the final on the back of impressive wins by both of them in their semis.
With the grand final played on Sunday afternoon, both bowlers traded honours early and were locked at 12 shots-all mid-way through the contest.
It was off the back of a six-end change that Marskell found the lead however, taking a 12 shot advantage and taking control of the final in dominant fashion.
After being locked at 12-all, the final score ended 31-16 with Marskell nearly locking Baskerville out of the second half of the contest.
Having defended his throne, Marskell was once again crowned the singles champion for the year, and he retained his number one seeding at the club.
