Bureau of Meteorology data shows the temperature dropped to -7.5 degrees at the official Bathurst Airport weather station this morning – the lowest temperature on record at that site.
The Mudgee Airport weather station recorded -6.2 degrees, but the ‘apparent’ temperature (feels like) was -9 degrees.
The Mudgee region may not have had the coldest temperature in the central west, but we’re sure you have the best photos!
