There are unconfirmed reports that one person died in the blaze.
Fire and Rescue NSW were called at 5.58am this morning (July 25) to Rodgers Street, Kandos, on reports of fire and heavy smoke.
The fire that started in a shed spread to a number of surrounding structures.
Five crews responded to the blaze that took a significant amount of time to battle.
One person has been treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire was brought under control at about 8.44am and around half-an-hour later signs of building collapse were experienced.
Emergency service personnel from Ambulance NSW and the Rural Fire Service were also in attendance.
Along with the FRNSW Fire Investigation Unit and police, who are working on the scene.
