NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard and Member for Dubbo Troy Grant (pictured) will travel to Mudgee for the meeting on August 14.
All members of the public are encouraged to attend.
The 2015 election promise from Mr Grant was allocated an extra $10.2 million in the NSW budget in June.
The total project allocation from the State Government is now $70.2 million.
At the time of the funding announcement, Mr Grant explained $8 million would be spent within this financial year.
Outpatient treatments were flagged as an essential service by the public and health staff during forums in 2015.
Other major issues raised included; increasing the number of hospital beds, increasing maternity services, making the emergency department accessible at all hours, community health services and aged care services.
It’s believed the redevelopment construction will start mid-2018.
The Mudgee Hospital redevelopment public meeting will be held in the Club Mudgee Auditorium from 9:30am to 10:30am on Monday, August 14.
If you would like to attend, email Mr Grant’s office at dubbo@parliament.nsw.gov.au or phone 6882 3577.
