The Gulgong Show Society hosted their traditional Gulgong Showgirl Presentation Dinner on Saturday, August 5 at the Gulgong RSL Club.

The event was supported by the Gulgong community and supporters of the two entrants Morgan Rae and Jacintha Leatherby.
The evening was hosted by Des Kelly and organised by outgoing Showgirl Lisa Byfield supported by 2016/17 Entrant Angela Flanagan and a small team of volunteers from the Gulgong Show Society.
During her two-year term, Lisa worked hard to raise the profile of the Showgirl movement. It is something she is still passionate about and hopes to continue as Junior Vice President of the Gulgong Show Society.
A great night was had by all and during the evening the 2018/19 Senior Gulgong Showgirl was announced.
Morgan Rae was crowned the new Showgirl with Jacintha Leatherby as runner-up.
Morgan and Jacintha will represent the Gulgong Show and the Gulgong community for the next two years.
There is lots to do in the coming months as the Show Society prepare to celebrate 130 years in 2018.
