Between the hours of 10am and 6pm on Friday, August 4, would be thieves have torn through the fly screens, which lead to an opened bathroom window of a house in Adams Street, Mudgee.

The occupants were not home at the time of the attempted break in and it is not believed that any property was stolen.
Mudgee Local Area Command said “This serves a timely reminder to lock your doors and windows before you leave the house.”
