Over 80 players contested the 4BBB on Friday and 190 players teed off on Saturday and Sunday for the two-day Stroke event.
Dylan Perry from The Vintage Golf Club was the Mudgee Open Amateur (Moascar Cup) scratch A - Grade winner over two rounds with a score of 140, 2 under par over the two days. Mudgee’s Mark Hale was second with a score of 147.
The Westpac Cup scratch B - Grade winner over two rounds was Mudgee’s Brian Insull with 169, he also won the J.B.Thompson Cup for the best score on handicap and the Pond, Bennett and Meers Cup for members from Mudgee, Dunheved and Campbelltown plus the Veterans Trophy.
Other local prize winners were; Josh Campbell first on Sunday’s A-Grade 18 hole scratch event; James Anderson second in the B-Grade 36 hole handicap; Matt Blyton first on Sunday’s B-Grade 18 hole scratch, Dennis Wallace second; Des Walker won the 36 hole stableford.
