Fifty-five not-out from first-drop Jerimiah Palombini and 52 from opener Gordon Wright had them on the way before they were bowled out in the 39th over.
Wicket takers were Oscar Mahon (3/18), Fergus Fergusson (2/12), Callan Double (2/25), Jack Lawson (1/16), and Pierson Sibley (1/29), of the 10 bowlers who rolled the arm over during the innings.
Double put in a strong all round performance by posting 60 n.o with the bat, finding the boundary seven times in the process.
With contributions from Mick Mahon (20), Jack Lawson (29), Greg Lawson (30) and Tim Rava (26), all adding up in the chase.
Barbarians’ Dave Martin took 3/19 from his five overs and Josh Edwards 2/27 as the order began to collapse with around 170 on the board in reply.
But it wasn’t enough as the Bulls reeled in the target in the 36th over.
