Working Class Man, which details Jimmy’s rock ‘n roll excesses, sold over 20,000 books and eBooks in its first week. This is more than any memoir/ autobiography/biography – local or international - since records have been kept in Australia.
The rock star will be in Mudgee to perform at Parklands Resort as part of the Stories & Songs national tour. Tickets are still available for the April 5 concert.
Barnes will be at Books Plus on Howick Street in Bathurst from 5.30pm-7pm on Thursday, November 30 to sign copies of his memoir, Working Class Man.
It is the sequel to Working Class Boy which received rave reviews last year.
