The entries will be on display in store for two weeks before a presentation evening on Wednesday, November 22 at 6pm. The presentation night is open for anyone to attend.
The works will be put under the microscope by a panel of Petries local trade business owners. The piece that the judging panel names as the best entry will earn its maker a $300 Mitre 10 gift voucher.
There is also a people’s choice award which is open to the public to vote on. Anyone can drop into Mitre 10 and fill out a voting form during the time the pieces are on display, up until the presentation night. The student whose piece has the most votes wins a $100 Mitre 10 gift card. There is also a $50 gift card to be won for anyone who votes in the people’s choice award.
