Organisers of the 2017 Mudgee Motorfest have hailed the event a roaring success.

They described the addition of Steve Mini’s FMX show – his last of the year – as “absolutely incredible”. And the new ‘Great Eskypade’, motorised esky competition also attracting plenty of interest.

Cudgegong Cruisers president, Gary Goodman, said the event was a success with the change to every two years helping to build anticipation.

“I thought that it went really well, very smoothly, and big crowds – about 1500 people estimated,” he said. “Now all we’ve got to do is top it in two years time. There was interest [following the year break] plus it alows us to alternate with Wings Wheels and Wine, so there’s something on each year.”

They rounded off the weekend by donating $500 from the event to Pink Up Mudgee 2017. The Club thanked Mid-Western Regional Council and their sponsors and volunteers who supported the event.
