This year, the popular car/bike show and ride will be held on Saturday, November 25 from the Mudgee Railway Station. Santa will arrive around 10am and the ride will depart after that.
Each year, a fleet of cars and bikes sets out around the region collecting toys and donations for Barnadoes and St Vincent de Paul. Organiser Crash O’Brien said the two organisations divide the cash and toys and distribute to local families.
“The money we raise and the toys we gather stay in the local area,” he said.
The Dice Run will head off down Sydney Road across to Cudgegong Road and onto the Globe Hotel at Rylstone, Crash explained.

“We come back up Lue Road and out to Cooyal and we’ll have lunch at the pub – that’s the second stop on the Dice Run. We’re going to come back across through Linburn Lane and out to Ulan for the third stop, then up to Coolah for the final stop,” he said.
“We’ve got music lined up there and the Dice Run and raffle presentations.”
Toys and cash donations can be dropped off at Berridge and Gallagher, The Property Shop or on the day.
Crash is encouraging everyone to donate, “it puts a smile on kids faces that wouldn’t normally get anything at Christmas”.
“It’s just great when you go down the street and see the support, the kids and mums and dads waving as you go past, it’s just a great community event.”
Staff at the Mudgee Guardian would like to sincerely apologies for a misprint on Tuesday, November 14 regarding the annual Toy Run.
