The six-year-old initiative is funded by Glencore Coal and acts as a pathway for students to experience a less traditional method of schooling while still reaping practical and academic benefits.
Students visited mechanics, butchers and radio studios to test themselves in the workplace and get a feel for what they might want to do in the future.
MHS Link Coordinator Melissa Date conducted a ‘Q&A’ segment as students recounted their experiences, sharing what they learned throughout the journey.
Melissa also thanked Glencore Coal for the significant financial contribution since the program’s inception.
