This wasn’t one of their easier outings though as it took all 20 overs for them to edge out a result.
The ‘Canes came to bat first and shot out of the gate with a big knock from Dylan King (47).
Dave Edwards gave the Strikers something to cheer about as he bowled Sebastian Flack for a duck before Ben Reynolds followed suit, dismissing Jeff Robinson.
Craig Mitchell (8 not out) steadied the ship for the Hurricanes but ran out of time as his side settled for 125.
Ben Reynolds opened for the Strikers after the break, making 29 on the back of two sixes before being caught.
Matt Croake (33) and Mark Hale (47) produced a 51-run partnership, leaving the Strikers with only 29 more runs to be made.
It might have been panic stations when Adam Callaghan got out for a duck but Josh Edwards (15) calmed things down as he had a game-deciding knock.
