Around 2am on December 31, police were called to the Perry Street pub finding a smashed plate glass window.
Chief Inspector Jeff Boon, from Mudgee Police, described the destruction inside as “disgraceful”.
“Beer taps had been turned on and fridges pushed over,” he said. “We recovered a large amount of alcohol and cigarettes, worth around $5000, but the majority of it was damaged.”

Police arrested a 23-year-old male from Gosford, charging him with a number of offences including aggravated break and enter and intimidate police. He was released on strict conditional bail and listed for court on January 17.
Detectives are looking for others involved and request anyone with information to contact Mudgee Police or Crime Stoppers.
