The 17 charges before court on April 18 related to the alleged incident earlier this year, and included; taking a vehicle without the consent of owner; prisoner escape lawful custody; and police pursuit.
The matters were stood over until May 23, 2018, when a date for hearing will likely be for further action.
A fortnight earlier on April 4, two more separate charges were set down for hearing.
Biffin was charged with; Dangerous/negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm; Drive while licence application refused; Drive vehicle, illicit drug present in blood etc. These matters will go to hearing on August 7.
A charge of ‘Assault occasioning actual bodily harm (Domestic Violence)’ from February, will be heard on July 19.
Magistrate David Day said that these were the earliest available hearing dates at Mudgee. No bail application was made.
