After some number crunching, it was found, the sum of $241,000 has been raised and distributed back into the community. 

This an amazing effort, plus $17000 has been raised for the purchase of the current building.

KEPCO  has given the shop a $3000  grant to paint the shopfront and add the sign.

The Community Charity Shop has a drive through recycling centre taking cans, bottles, car and truck batteries and this section raised $1900.

The Clandulla State Forest became the Clandulla State Gallery last weekend when Cementa hosted the ‘The Survey Show II’. An eclectic display of images, visions and art, placed on walking trails in a beautiful forest setting.

Thirty one exhibits were viewed by a huge gathering of hardy souls. Cementa continues to impress with their depth of creative thinking and their organisation.

A steady lot of visitors, braving the cold weather, cheered the stall holders at the Rylstone Markets. The outside stall holders were brave, but did, “OK”.

On a cold morning, a hot chocolate with marshmellows is welcomed by Jack, Duke and William from Sydney, as Karl Cook from Portland in his coffee caravan, serves the boys.

With cold, drizzling, rain conditions, a huge contingent of runners turned up at Carwell’s Labyrinth Jarrawood North part of the Clandulla State Forest. Organised by the Central Coast Orienteers, the long weekend was spent running over various courses. Despite the cold, the participants enjoyed the big event.

The Year 7 orientation camp held at Cudgegong Scout Camp and Dunn’s Swamp, was a huge success this year. Students and staff enjoyed canoeing, orienteering, collaborative games, yummy food, hot milo and getting to know each other in a fun Kandos High way.

A huge thankyou goes out to attending staff and volunteers, who made the camp a life long experience to be remembered by everyone who attended.
