Quentin Tarantino once said “Dogs got personality. Personality goes a long way,” and one local puppy has just that.
Grace who currently works part-time at Town & Country Mowers & Chainsaws, although small, is host to an enormous personality that rubs off onto every person she meets.
The pure bred Kelpie began making an appearance at the local Mudgee business approximately two months ago and has since captured the hearts of many customers.
Adam first met Grace when she was a pup small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
“A farmer had a litter of pups, he contacted me and I came to pick her up,” Adam said.
She was actually the runt of the litter, but we loved her as soon as we got her.”

Town & Country Mowers & Chainsaws Manager, Adam Jewell said it isn’t uncommon for customers to come in with the preference to see Grace over the other staff.
“Lots of people come in and look for her. They want to see Grace,” he said.
Grace is described as being friendly, cheerful and demanding. When asked, Mr Jewell said Grace is demanding in the sense she is always hungry, making sure that is known.
She is also a sucker for pats and cuddles, even at the most serious of times.
Grace’s popularity is such that if she decides to have a day off, customers always notice and express their concern. Showing that she quickly endears herself to her friends.
“If she isn’t in the store, people always want to know where she is and if everything is ok with her,” Mr Jewell said.
The plan is to hopefully have Grace promoted to a full time position making sure she keeps up appearances and can be a companion for all who visit the store.
