With the Christie and Hood Castlereagh League minor premiership wrapped up, the Gulgong Terriers are set for an acid test when they travel to Gilgandra this weekend to take on the second-placed Panthers.

In what should be a high class affair, the victor will be able to take some psychological advantage into their major semi final clash, which will be held three weeks later at Billy Dunn Park.

Meanwhile Dunedoo – who are sitting pretty in third and set to host the minor semi final – will take the longest road trip of the comp when they travel to Cobar to take on a Roosters side looking to clinch fourth place.
