The event will be held at the Mudgee Sporting Clays range at Windamere Dam – one of the best ranges in Australia.
There is expected to be an excess of 90 competitors with approximately 25 Mudgee locals taking part.
Competitors range from the age of 12 all the way to a 91-year-old local.
The event will see Clay Target Shooting with 30 automatic clay throwers using different types of targets.
“Sporting Clays is the most challenging clay target shooting there is but it is the most enjoyable,” Treasurer of Mudgee Sporting Clays and State Team Manager for NSW, Ross Christian said.
NSW State Team Members will be selected at this event who will go on to represent NSW at the Australian Nationals held in Laange, Victoria.
The event will be held from the October 13 to 14.
